The Tide is High

August 26, 2012
This is my last look while at Cebu! I was so sad knowing that it was time to leave this beautiful resort, the long weekend was over and it was almost back to reality for me. Soon it was time to head back to Manila. To cap off my trip, I made it point to meet up with my good friend Kryz and her boyfriend, Mike for breakfast (despite the delay, my bad and so sorry about that!!!) and catch up a storm of stories and of course, squeeze in a little outfit post shoot while we were at it, haha!

Here I am with Kryz before chowing down our food for breakfast, I was so happy I got to see her! She usually comes to Manila every month, but this time it was my turn to go to Cebu!

While I was getting dressed, I wanted to keep my look cool and relaxed cause I knew that this was what I was going to wear on the plane ride back home. Luckily, I packed about two or three more looks good enough for my trip and mixed them all up to create this look! That’s a tip from me to you all, bring a few extra pieces/looks when you travel — You’ll never know when you’ll need it!

| Tank Top: Topshop | Mullet Skirt: Zara | Canvas Tote: Team Manila | Necklace and Bracelet: Random From the Profoods Gift Shop | Sandals: Cotton On |

A little amazing thing about the accessories I’m wearing (namely my bracelet and necklace) is that they’re made of recycled materials, fruit seeds or husks to be exact! I bought this after the tour of the Profoods plant I mentioned HERE. I believe this is one of the many ways one can save the Earth, and in a fashionable manner I must say!

This song is an oldie but a goodie indeed. It’s The Tide is High by Atomic Kitten, I’m pretty sure many fellow 90’s babies will remember this song and the band as well! I was thinking of songs with the word tide in it and this was the first song that came to mind! Blast from the past much? Haha

Definitely agree about bringing extra pieces in my luggage– anything could happen on your trip! That’s so cool about your accessories and how they’re made of recycled materials as well (: (btw, did you dye your hair yourself?)
