Summer Girl

If the heat isn’t the biggest indicator that summer is here then I don’t know what else could be an even bigger giveaway. It’s been really hot here in Manila. The heat has totally made me shift my style and way of dressing which I believe is really something we should tale into consideration when planning your attire. Explains all the bright colours you see inside shops and malls. Well, that’s something that definitely influences my styling lately. This is the time of the year that I TRY to ditch wearing black, even during night outs and formal events. From my usual black ensembles, I turn to pants for some tees, tanks, shorts and bright colors. Hence, the amazingly summer-y dress I’ve got on! The color alone reminds me of fruits, sorbets and maybe the summer sunset?

This dress is so simple and yet so easy to wear. You can dress it up, dress it down simply by adding accessories. For this entry I opt for a simply classy clean look. Perfect for a nice lunch with friends. Head on to Mango and get yourselves their wonderfully colored tops and bottoms and mix them all together to something whimsical and fun.

Let me tell you a little more about my blog title shall I? Well, I haven’t heard this song in awhile BUT this is definitely a girly summer song.
