A Place In This World
March 16, 2011
I decided to experiment with a different kind of look today — Something quite, boho-ish but a twist of course. This isn’t really an outfit I’d usually wear out or something but I promised myself (and my readers) that I’d try out new things this coming year, so I guess this one’s a good start, what do you think?
Gray Topshop dress turned tank top, white chiffon thrifted maxi skirt, neon pink and yellow Extreme Finds necklace turned headband and sequined black heels from Inches.
I got the idea of wearing the necklace Cha of Extreme Finds gave me as a headband cause I saw fellow blogger, Laureen wear it that way. I thought it was such an innovative idea, so I gave it a shot, maybe I should wear necklaces like this more often. Oh and Laureen if you’re reading this, great idea! I love it!!
I would like to thank Ms. Suyen (the owner of Inches) for giving me a pair of these gorgeous sequined shoes! I’ve always wanted one but never found the right pair, thank god these were at the store when I came to pay them a visit. I also wanna say thank you to Cha Sy for the necklace from Extreme Finds!! xx
And before I end this blog post, I just wanna thank everyone for all your sweet comments, advice and words. I wouldn’t be where I am now if it weren’t for all of you, my dear dear readers!!! THANK YOU isn’t enough to let you know how happy you make me feel everyday knowing that I have great readers like you make me want to strive better to become better in every aspect. Again, thank you, so so much!! xx

It’s a really great mix, a really great outfit, but it doesn’t scream Patricia Prieto. The maxi skirt that is. But great post nonetheless!

Oooh. Follow up suggestion, do you mind doing an outfit post wearing wide-legged jeans? It’ll still be boho-ish. 🙂
xo, Mich
Hmmmm, I know I have a pair, I’ll look for it then make sure to wear it for you! 😉
Hi. May I know where is Inches? Do they have a store or a website? Please let me know. Thank you so much! 🙂
The only branch I know of is in Trinoma cause that’s the one that my class went to that one time 🙂
all of the photos don’t show in the current version of the opera browser and this isn’t the first time/ this has happened a few times recently. in firefox everything shows. but i love opera/so i figured someone should mention this…
pic with sunglasses is my fave…
How odd, cause I use a the .jpg file so it opens in any type of browser and it’s quicker..? 😦
Hi, Patricia. I’ve always been a fan of how you wear headbands. I mean I can’t do it like you do. I don’t know if it’s beacuse I don’t have that much hair or my head is too small for headbands. I can’t seem to show that much of hair above the headband, it always falls off T.T How do you do it? 🙂
AWW, thank you! If you honestly ask me I just put it on and it doesn’t move up, maybe cause I make sure to stretch my headbands a bit before I wear them so that it isn’t too tight that it would fling off my head, hahaha!! 🙂
Hi patricia! I will be featuring you on my blog, it’s about the maxi skirt trend. Hope you don’t mind if i’ll grab one photo of you 🙂 thanks! i will let you know if the blog post is up already 🙂
hearts,
